Emma has a penchant for ludicrous headgear. This evening, for example, she was wandering around the garden wearing a (much too big) pink, fluffy cowgirl hat. Yesterday, she spent all morning wearing Tom's cycle helmet. I have actually wheeled her up to pick Tom and Lily up from school with an Easter bonnet cocked at a jaunty angle on her head (in February, no less). However, try and get her to wear a woolly hat when it's cold or a sun hat on a hot day and suddenly headgear is less appealing. Contrary little miss!
