The Podlings adore my parents' dogs Molly and Flash and at least as far as Flash is concerned the feeling is entirely mutual. Molly, a nine year old Yorkshire Terrier, would rather be left alone thank you very much! Flash is a much younger dog and loves to play with the children and he has a particular soft spot for Lily.
Lily was thrilled to be able to help groom him on my parents' last day with us and the sand table made an excellent grooming platform. We left his extraneous hair in the garden for the birds, who seem to have enjoyed flying off to line their nests with it.
