That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils."
From 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth
It's the first official day of spring today, though as a wise man once said:
"The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month." (Henry Van Dyke)
It is cold, wet and windy here today and couldn't feel less like a Spring day if it tried! Still, it's nice to feel that Spring is at least on its way.
