Don't be fooled by the blue sky...it was freezing!
During my parents visit over Easter, we went for a walk in Park Hall Country Park in Stoke. Despite being quite close to where we live, we have somehow managed to never go there before. It was a sunny afternoon, but windy and bitterly cold. It hadn't snowed for two weeks, but patches of snow and ice lingered on and showed no signs of melting. The cold meant we had a shorter walk than we might otherwise have done, but we had a lovely time in the short time we were there. The Podlings played in the woods with Grandad and they had fun dodging his snowballs. It was a very pretty area and is definitely somewhere we will return to for future walks.
My mum looking very cold!
Lingering snow. Go away snow!
Where's Grandad?
There he is!
Grandad throws snowballs at the Podlings
