A new cardigan

Since I have to spend a great deal of my time supervising the Podlings on the trampoline, I am trying to use it productively. I managed to finish this cardigan for Emma today. Please don't look too closely...it is full of mistakes! It is also full of sand since Emma very helpfully came and dumped a handful of sand from the sandpit on it when I was sewing it up. Thanks for the input Emma!

Been meaning to say well done for finishing the cardy, it looks lovely. The good thing about lace patterns is you can make the odd mistake and it usually isn't visible (although I have to admit that I haven't actually done much lace knitting). You should try cables too...so long as you don't choose a full blown aran pattern they are far easier than they look (I can send you a couple of patterns if you are interested - email and let me know!)

If you are anything like me you have a load of projects on the go. I have at least 5 part-finished knits on the go and I'd really like to make myself a cardy but have promised myself I need to finish something before starting something new. Ho hum!
