Lily: When I grow up I'm going to be a mermaid.
Me: Oh, lovely! Will you live in the sea?
Lily: Yes. [Pauses] Will you still be my mummy?
Me: Of course. I will always be your mummy.
Lily: Forever?
Me: Forever.
Lily: Good. [She smiles and bounces off]
